New year is a big festival for Chinese people. Rio de Janeiro in Brazil is one of the biggest festival in the world. In Japan,people love cherry blossom. In the USA,the festival of Thanksgiving is in November. Christmas is the birthday of Jesus Christ and it's a big festival for Christians. October 31 is Halloween.

All around the world there are big festivals for New Year. People in different countries do different things.
